Hi everyone!
Garrett Menghini here, with Down To Earth Composting. I was born and raised in Reno, Nevada, then spent about eight years up and down the west coast (going to college in LA, working in the aerospace industry, co-founding a (failed) tech startup, being an unemployed bum, and living in Seattle and SF) before moving back to Reno in early 2017.
Down To Earth Composting has been around since February 2018 (prior to that it was the Reno Rot Riders. The Rot Riders split their business into a commercial and residential service, and Down To Earth acquired the residential side of things). We are 100% bike powered, serve about 75 customers, and are growing at a reasonable rate.
Fun Fact: a serious pet peeve of mine is not being able to lick the inside of a jar of peanut butter clean.
It feels like we've learned a fair amount in the last several months, but have a TON more to learn, so are excited to collaborate with others who might be tackling similar challenges in their businesses.
