Here at Cyrcle, we use a combination of countertop bins and small organics rollcarts for our residential customers. here is a picture of the both of them:
They are expensive and we have considered switching to reduce overhead but your customers love the slick bins. What do you guys use and would you recommend them?
5 gallon buckets. Super simple no fuss. Lid is a must.
We use 5 gallon buckets with resealable lids. It's cheap and reliable. We occasionally have trouble with dogs or squirrels eating through the lids, but overall I'd recommend our residential setup. Our process is aerobic and our pickup period is every other week for most customers. For businesses, we use 32gal rolling carts that do not seal. They work ok for coffee shops, but aren't great for basically anything else.

We give our residential clients 2 five gallon buckets with airtight lids and our commercial clients 55 gallon drums. The process we use is anaerobic, so it is important to have lids that are secure. We have found that it takes most of our residential clients a month to fill both buckets. Some fill them up every w weeks, so we offer both biweekly and monthly pickups.
